RetroSync privacy policy
RetroSync does not collect your data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party data sharing. The app does not automatically send the developer information about you, your device, or what you play.
Your imported games, save data, library metadata, theme, and syncable per-game preferences stay on your devices. Device-specific settings, including controller layouts, stay only on that device. If your device is signed into iCloud, RetroSync stores the syncable content in the private iCloud database of your own Apple Account so your other devices can download it. That data is accessible to your Apple Account only; the developer cannot read it, and Apple processes it under your iCloud agreement.
Deleting a game in RetroSync removes it from your visible library across your devices. To reconcile offline devices and later re-imports safely, RetroSync retains a deletion marker, the library metadata record, and the imported game asset in your private iCloud database. A deleted save payload that is no longer referenced is retained for at least 30 days and may remain longer until a later automatic reclamation pass. The developer cannot access or delete this private data for you.
You can stop future iCloud sync by disabling iCloud access for RetroSync in your device's iCloud settings or by signing out of iCloud. You can use your Apple Account's iCloud storage-management controls to review or delete RetroSync's stored iCloud data. Disabling sync does not itself delete existing local or iCloud data.
RetroSync makes no network connections other than your own iCloud sync. If iCloud is unavailable or signed out, the app works entirely on-device.
